About me

I currently live in Manhattan Beach, California with my five year old boy Christopher. As a young boy, I dreamt of making art for a living especially in the areas of science-fiction and fantasy. Much of my inspiration came from comic book illustrators such as Larry Todd, Esteban Maroto, and Larry Evans. I am mainly self-taught although I earned myself an associates degree in Studio Art from my local community college in 2012. They displayed my work in their gallery two times. I have always been willing to try any art gig that someone is willing to throw at me. I believe that if you want to make it in a field you have to try new things and be willing to change. It’s a never-ending learning process and there’s always room for growth no matter how old you are or how much experience you have. If you love what you do, then everything will work out.

Send me a message and let me know about the project you’re working on. I’ll be happy to discuss it with you without obligation.

The art process.

I have a fairly refined process. Generally, I start with several thumbnail sketches often times looking at reference pictures and/or creating a maquette. From there, I do a first draft, followed by a second draft, and lastly a final draft.
